Description

The Outback Armour “Digressive” (DSV) shock absorber range has been developed and engineered in Australia to handle extremely demanding off-road environments, including continuous corrugations, harsh mining tracks, remote station travel, and other challenging conditions.

Its digressive valving is designed to allow the suspension to move freely across uneven terrain, working alongside the springs to absorb impacts. At the same time, it helps control body roll and pitching, supporting overall vehicle stability and driver control.

These shock absorbers are purpose-built for durability in remote environments, including the Australian outback, African plains, and the jungles of Papua New Guinea, with a focus on preventing failure caused by heat buildup or fatigue.

• Extreme-duty fully synthetic Fuchs oil

The fully synthetic Fuchs oil used in the digressive shock range is formulated to perform under extreme temperatures for extended periods. It maintains resistance to aeration, helping reduce the risk of shock fade and failure in harsh off-road conditions.

Each unit is supplied ready for installation and includes rubber bushings.

The recommended maximum normal ride height for this shock, measured from the centre of the wheel to the guard, is 575mm.
